Hi I’m Melissa!
I’m a creative design leader with over 10 years of experience in design, specializing in the full lifecycle of immersive themed experience development—from ideation through installation. I’ve led multidisciplinary internal and external teams to deliver high-quality, integrated scenic and show set design packages for global projects, balancing bold creative vision with technical precision, budget, and operational realities.
My design background is intentionally diverse—spanning consumer product design, graphic design, toy design, and ultimately, themed entertainment. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from the University of Cincinnati (DAAP), and I’m currently pursuing an MBA to deepen my leadership in creative strategy and business integration. This unique mix of creative and strategic experience helps me align design development with broader business goals, while mentoring talent and fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration.
I approach challenges head-on, grabbing the bull by the horns so-to-speak. I’m driven by a personal mission to improve the world through design—whether that’s building immersive destinations, bringing brands to life, or leading teams to success. I currently reside in Orlando, FL, but have worked on projects across the globe. Outside of work, you’ll likely find me exploring nature—hiking, biking, camping, or paddling somewhere off the beaten path.
